What if I told you that your ancestors hold the key to healing?

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, I am chatting with my ancestral healing practitioner, Simon Wolff. We worked together for over a year and I am so excited to chat with them about all things related to ancestral healing and somatics.

Join us as Simon shares more about the correlation between somatics, ancestral reverence, and earth-based ritual practices. They also highlight the importance of embracing simple yet profound activities that encourage us to honor our ancestors and (re)connect with our bodies.  Simon discusses how as we learn to create and maintain boundaries with our troubled ancestors, and reconnect and collaborate with our bright and benevolent ancestors to heal and transform the unwellness in our lines, we can not only experience healing in our own lives, but/and also help shift local, national, and global consciousness here on Earth.

Simon Wolff (they/them) is a politicized healer and ritualist weaving one-to-one and group somatic, ancestral, and cultural healing vessels in service to radical care, resilient resistance, and collective liberation.

They identify as an antiracist, white, queer, trans, disabled, neuroqueer person of the Ashkenazi Jewish diaspora living and tending on Anishinaabe land known as Waawiiyaatanog / Detroit, Michigan.

I have experienced firsthand the power and potency that ancestral healing can have on your life, so I’m thrilled to share this conversation with Simon with you today. Make sure to tune in!

In today’s episode, we explore:

  • Simon's spiritual and emotional journey and how yoga gave them a framework for healing

  • What ancestral healing is and Simon’s unique approach

  • The intersect of ancestral healing and somatics

  • How Simon embraces multidimensionality

  • The misconceptions some people have about this type of healing work

  • The power and potency you can access in your own body with ancestral healing

  • How Simon weaves somatic work into their healing practice

  • The aliveness and fullness we embody when we come into contact with our own multidimensionality

  • The disconnection from the innate sacredness of all forms of life

I hope you enjoyed this conversation with Simon! If you want to learn more about how you can explore ancestral healing and somatic work with them, you can do that by visiting their website.

dimensions of parenting

Sara Vatore

For many of us, when we become mothers, we are confronted with a barrage of parenting advice, expectations, and judgments. The choices we make about our children's education, their upbringing, and how we deal with our personal emotional triggers can become subjects for scrutiny.

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, I brought my dear friend Andrea Bordenca back onto the show to discuss the many dimensions of parenting. We are pulling back the curtain on the realities of parenting, whether it's managing external societal expectations or our internal wants and priorities or fostering open dialogues with our children.

Navigating the waves of parenthood, Andrea and I break down practical ways for helping children express their emotions, build resilience, and foster trust. We discuss the importance of supporting our children's emotional development, and how to create an environment that allows them to express their feelings without judgment.

Andrea Bordenca resides in Ludlow, Massachusetts with her husband Christopher Bordenca and three sons. Andrea owns a suite of businesses. Each business shares a common thread among all these businesses: culture and belonging.

Andrea spends most of her time coaching & consulting leaders & their teams. She is a white cisgender woman who is passionate about working with women & non-binary leaders of all races, and abilities to create effective boundaries where discerning self-care & care for others becomes transparent & uncomplicated. When individuals have the capacity to fully express themselves & be present with others’ voices, we can then celebrate that we are each dimensionally different & dynamic, this is when innovation happens.

Andrea works with several collaborators supporting leaders and their teams to design, strategize, & grow together. She’s a recovering “solo performer” & has learned & experienced that it does not need to be “lonely at the top”.

Andrea works primarily with: School Districts & Medium to Large For Profit Organizations.

In today’s episode we explore:

  • The threads of Andrea’s parenting journey

  • The judgment that parents can face from others

  • The educational choices we make as parents, including Sara’s decision to unschool/homeschool with her youngest

  • The power of having honest conversations with our kids and getting feedback on our blind spots

  • Creating safe spaces for kids to express themselves

  • How we can understand and address our triggers as parents

  • Helping our children navigate their emotions

  • Embracing our children as individuals, not as extensions of ourselves

dimensions of resilience

Sara Vatore

As we say goodbye to July, I couldn’t help but feel the pull of a summer pause from the podcast for the month of August, a much-needed respite for self-reflection, and a time to recharge before we transition into a new season.

With August on the horizon, I found myself contemplating the necessity of creating space for myself in this upcoming month, especially after an expansive July.  It's been a whirlwind of activity and growth lately over in my world, and as I embrace the energy that July brought, there is natural contraction energy that is calling for me to pay attention to.

Tune in to this chat for some reflections about the themes that July presented for me personally, my observations of some energetic threads swirling in the collective and the why behind choosing into a pause for the podcast for the month of August.

At the beginning of the calendar year I always pull a card to tap into the energy signature for each month. August’s theme is RESILIENCE. Join me for this episode as I explore what RESILIENCE really means, share about how we can cultivate RESILIENCE within our Beings as we move into August and how this energy is aligning with what's coming up personally and collectively.

In order for us to be RESILIENT Beings and have RESILIENT Bodies, we have to be listening deeply and taking exquisite care of our selves. I’m sharing how I will be dancing with this understanding as I enter August, prioritizing practices and spaces that fuel my resilience and nourish my Being.

In today’s episode we explore:

  • The WHY behind embracing a pause on the podcast for August

  • The signs that come up for me signaling old patterns are resurfacing

  • Gratitude for expanded awareness and red flags, instead of frustration

  • Recommitting to what’s important

  • How I determine where I devote my energy and time

  • Embracing generative expansion and contraction cycles

  • August’s Energy Theme of RESILIENCE

  • What cultivating resilience looks like for me

dimensions of navigating pain

Sara Vatore

So many of us silently struggle with pain in different ways. We live in a society that normalizes being in pain. Because of this, for those of us living with chronic illness and pain, it can be easy to disregard our experience or actually prioritize making the space to care for and heal our bodies. In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, I explore the dimensions of navigating pain and share my experience with a recent flare-up.

As someone who has lived with various layers of chronic pain and illness on and off for my whole life, I am great at being “fine”. I have a high tolerance for pain and I learned at a really young age how to ignore it and override my body’s cues, sucking it up and presenting like I was okay, so I could keep up living my life.

Talking about the dysfunction in my body or the pain I experienced was not something I would do often. If I didn’t acknowledge it or talk about it then it was easy to pretend it was not happening. This ignoring often caused an increase in my symptoms and led to even more collapse, shutdown, and pain in my body.

Over the years I've learned the importance of meeting my body where she is at, recognizing and accepting my body when there is an expression of pain (physical or emotional), and vocalizing when I'm struggling so I can receive help and support.

Join me in this episode as I share my recent journey through the last 8 weeks of intense back and leg pain and how I worked to activate my body's healing potentials by shifting my attention to small moments of relief and working with gentle intuitive movement, the MELT Method, strength exercises, and the support of practitioners, guides, and ancestors.

I also discuss the theme of surrender and the power of taking space to tend to our body in order to facilitate and activate healing within our own systems. There are mindset shifts and intentional somatic practices we can do that can lead to profound healing, even in the face of excruciating pain.

In today’s episode we discuss:

  • How pain is an alert system notifying us that something else may be going on

  • My recent experience navigating 8 weeks of intense pain

  • Moving from meaning-making and figuring out the “why” behind pain/discomfort to activating healing and finding relief

  • The importance of giving our bodies permission to be physically struggling

  • How I navigate chronic pain and ways I have found relief

  • How taking care of my body at a foundational physical/structural level allowed my body to activate healing potential

  • The profound healing that can happen when we set the intention to heal

  • What the MELT Method is and how I work with this modality to provide relief and healing for my body

  • My core, foundational belief about pain

  • What we can intentionally orient to that helps us focus on things other than pain/discomfort

Whether you are experiencing physical pain or emotional pain, or both, these times can be a signal to us to orient our focus and attention back to our selves and back to the basics of making sure our needs are being met.

I hope that this story-sharing and mirroring will provide you with some options and insights on how to think about what might be going on in your own physical body. I encourage you to observe the little shifts that unfold in your body as you play with different practices so that you can start to see how they stack up to make big changes.

It feels important to me that we all have access to these kinds of simple somatic/body practices to cultivate feeling good/relief/neutrality/pleasure in our bodies, especially when things are hard.

Because of this, I have felt called to create more in-person group movement and MELT Method experiences. I am excited to announce two movement classes/workshops with me that you can check out if you are local to my area!

On June 10th from 4-6pm I invite you to join me for Release and Receive: A MELT Method and Intuitive Movement Infusion.

dimensions of marisa michelson

Sara Vatore

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, I had a captivating conversation with the gifted Marisa Michelson, a singer, composer, and somatic singing teacher. We discussed her inspiring journey from childhood theater to professional composition and the healing Vocal DeArmoring work she does today.

Together, we unveil the complexities of embracing our multi-dimensional nature, and how it has allowed Marisa to flourish creatively in her life and career.

Marisa is a singer and singing teacher, an award-winning composer at the nexus of theatre, experimental music, opera, new music, and improvisation, and the founding director of the embodied vocal-performance ensemble, Constellation Chor || an immersion in voice, movement, and spirit - which seeks wild embodiment through voice and body and has made a name for itself performing at such venues as Lincoln Center, The Kitchen, National Sawdust, Pioneer Works, and in Greece and Iceland.

With Constellation Chor, Marisa has developed a practice for connecting to Self and Other via group voice and movement improvisation, a practice that she teaches to all humans (not just professional artists) and calls Core Sounding™.

As a somatic singing teacher, Marisa has taught Broadway stars, opera singers, and people who have never sung before but who know that singing is their birthright. She teaches virtually and in person.  Her perspective is grounded in the Libero Canto© Approach which was first developed by Lajos Szamosi in Budapest before World War II and is her primary pedagogical lineage.

She has also completed a certificate in Integrative Somatic Trauma Healing from the Embody Lab which is part of what has inspired her to be in direct conversation with therapists and somatic healers. Marisa is working on her first book, currently entitled “Free: The Embodied Metaphysics of Singing”.

In today’s episode we discuss:

  • Marisa’s journey as an artist

  • The moment that changed the trajectory of her life and career as a singer and performer

  • How Marisa works with people who want to find more aliveness through voice

  • Why Marisa decided to explore integrative somatic therapy

  • The magic of art and aliveness

  • Why healing is not an “endpoint”

  • The ancestral wounds we all have

  • What multidimensionality means to Marisa and the tension that makes up life itself

  • How breaking free from limiting beliefs can open up new possibilities for growth and self-expression

  • Identity and why sometimes we need to put ourselves in a box in order to really see ourselves

What if connecting with your ancestors could bring about profound healing and a deeper understanding of the multidimensional nature of the world?

In today's episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, I am joined by my sibling, Noah Goldberg to explore the power of multidimensionality, healing, and ancestral work. Noah shares their experiences with somatic coaching, intuitive healing, and ritual baking, revealing the beautiful and sometimes challenging process that has shaped their understanding of self and the world around them.

Together, we delve into how somatic work empowers individuals to explore their bodies, tend to their own resources, and reclaim resilience. We also discuss the intricacies of ancestral healing processes, intuitive explorations, and connecting with past life energies.

Their work is creative, curious and holds individual healing as sacredly interconnected with collective transformation. They believe accessing places & spaces of knowing, wisdom, and belonging that are erased by colonialism, white supremacy, capitalism, ableism, patriarchy, and more, is a key part of reclaiming wholeness and showing up to meet the present moment.

They work 1-1 and in small groups facilitating Somatic Coaching and Ritual baking. To learn more about Noah please visit https://www.noahagoldberg.com/

In today’s episode we discuss:

dimensions of creating space for self

Sara Vatore

Taking space for ourselves in the world that we live in can feel like a radical choice. When we are navigating full lives and moving with all the threads of work, family, adulting, relationships, etc., it can often feel impossible to pause and create the space we need to actually recharge and sense our self separate from the roles we play and the people we spend time with.

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, I am excited to dive into the topic of finding space and creating space for our selves. We explore the importance of the physical spaces around us, the energetic spaces within and around us, and the spaces we can uncover within us.

In my journey as a homeschooling mom, wife, and business owner, it has been essential to learn how to make the most out of small moments and spaces for my self and my expression and it has also been crucial to creating longer spaces of time for myself, in order to give my system the permission and TIME it needs to unwind so that I don’t feel as overwhelmed or feel like I’m disappearing.

Taking SPACE is essential for us to fully access and sense into our unique vibration, creativity, and genuine life force energy. And to explore:

Who am I separate from the roles I play?

Who am I BEING in the world?

What are MY needs, wants, desires, feelings, and emotions?

What is my body trying to express right now?

I need space to find myself and reconnect with my essence when I get swept up in the day-to-day.

As a mother and human with a full life, I have to intentionally prioritize taking space for myself. I have to schedule it and then guard it. I have to honor the importance of it.

When I do not, it is so easy for me to fall back into putting everyone else around me first.

This is why I am so passionate about talking about SPACE and creating spaces as an integral practice leading us to health and wellness.

Because of this, my business is entirely devoted to creating spaces for others for healing, integration, and expansion. I create intentional and curated containers so that others can prioritize having space for themselves.

In today’s episode we discuss:

  • The importance of prioritizing the space that we need to thrive

  • How I prioritize space in my own life and work

  • Emotional expression and the importance of being authentic with your family

  • Big teaching moments from the universe that I have had over the last few years about space

dimensions of daydreaming

Sara Vatore

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, we’re having a chat about the topic of daydreams and daydreaming. We’ve been in many conversations recently on the podcast about dreams and dreaming overall, as I’ve been in co-creation of Whispers From Dreams: Alchemizing the Wisdom of the Night (our portal-program) with my friend and fellow practitioner Brie Wollman.

Because of our planning together, this topic is SO alive for me right now! Thinking about daydreams is something that surfaced for me recently, as I have not been able to recall my nighttime dreams over a series of nights in a row.

In times where we’re not able to recall dreams, noticing our “daydreams” can be a bridge to help us reconnect with our dream space again. Our waking hours hold potent messages too and orienting to what is happening when our eyes are open, allows us to be present to more magical moments.

Through paying attention to my “daydreams”, writing them down and playing with them creatively, it has allowed me to see the really interesting themes, synchronicities and patterns revealing themselves to me.

Daydreaming can be a potent and profound gift if we struggle with nighttime dream recall, or during times when we aren’t recalling our dreams. Tune in to this episode to learn more about daydreams and how they can help you further explore the many dimensions of dreaming.

In today’s episode we discuss:

  • My dream journaling routine

  • My perspective on daydreaming and how to work with daydreams

  • How our dream spaces are a guidance system

  • What to do when dream recall feels challenging

  • How daydreaming provides support for me in my waking and creative world

  • My recent daydream experiences and what is coming through right now

  • How you can start getting curious about the daydream messages surfacing for you

If dreamwork and dreaming is speaking to you, I invite you to check out our upcoming portal- program Whispers from Dreams: Alchemizing the Wisdom of the Night. We start on April 13th and will be offering monthly virtual sessions for dream practice development and group Dreaming Circles to share our dreams and look at shared collective messages.

There will be an ongoing online community for exploration between the sessions, and we have an optional (but highly recommended) in-person retreat in New England in the fall to culminate and enrich our collective dreaming journey. To get all of the details visit the website HERE.

dimensions of crepes and consciousness

Sara Vatore

I hope you are all having a warm and welcoming entrance into the new calendar year.

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, I chat with you about one of my favorite topics that also feels deeply steeped in connections to my Jewish ancestry for me: dreaming, dreamwork, and dreams.

I foresee many conversations on this topic as we move forward on the podcast, but today, I have a special piece that I share with you and discuss.

As I was reflecting on the year that unfolded in 2022 and reviewing my dream journals, I stumbled across a dream that I had at the beginning of January of 2022.  This dream mirrored a really important message for me that reverberated through last year and I feel it is also really relevant now as we move into 2023 and think about the topic of our multidimensional selves.

Dreams and dreaming carry/carries so many layers, dimensions, perspectives, insights, information and mystery. There is no one way to think about dreaming or the dreams we have. There are infinite ways to play with, interpret, ponder, be with, etc the images and themes that come through at night. They hold individual messages for us and can mirror messages for the collective. In this episode I share this specific dream as an invitation and possible window for you to view your own multidimensional layers of Being.

In today’s episode we discuss:

  • Honoring your body, energy and natural rhythms

  • The importance of pausing and reflection

  • The multidimensionality of dreams and dreaming

  • How I expanded my dream work practice

  • The collective unconscious

  • The Crepe Dream I had in January 2022 and the messages it carried for me

  • Invitations for you to play with this dream and uncover insights into your experience

What layer is next in your creative process? What aspect of self is emerging? I invite you to think about what part of you, or layer of self, is desiring attention, focus, and love. There are so many ways to play with/be with/think about this dream that I had, and if anything came up for you, please send me a message. I would love to hear how this landed for you!

If you desire a place to explore your dreamscapes, I offer one-on-one Dream Alchemy sessions. This is a sacred space for you to bring your dreams and the curious messages coming through at night so that you can have an opportunity to honor, explore and digest the insights/wisdom that is emerging. dimensions of gabrielli lachiara & chloë faith urban

Sara Vatore

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, I sat down with two of my teachers and allies in healing, Gabrielli LaChiara and Chloë Faith Urban. They are here to talk about their shared mission to inspire and help others dismantle internal and external oppression and to facilitate profound healing and faith on our planet. We cover many topics and threads in this episode and I am thrilled to share this potent conversation with you.

We are diving into how the threads of their individual stories weave together into the tapestry of their shared healing work in the world.

Gabrielli and Chloë believe every single moment is an opportunity for healing. They know that living aware is an ongoing exploration, not one that any human will ever perfect. While they each hold their own private practices as healers, the bond they have forged through their friendship has led them to offer workshops, retreats, intensives, and trainings together all over the world.

Gabrielli LaChiara (she/her/hers) is a white, cisgender woman of Italian descent. She holds her private practice and healing center in Amherst, MA, on the indigenous land of the Umpanchla, Quonquont, and Chickwalopp people.

In 2001, Gabrielli faced her own personal challenges with a diagnosis of breast cancer. This further fueled her desire to ignite healing on any and every level possible. Her commitment to unpack this intense and powerful interface of body, being, soul, and spirit became even more profound.

Gabrielli established a full-time private practice in healing in 2003. In 2004, she began the Infinity Healing Training Program with Lori Friedman and has been training reiki healers, energy workers, pranic healers, healers of other modalities, and anyone who is called to apply their intuitive healing gifts for healing humanity.

Chloë Faith Urban (she/her/hers) is a white, cisgender woman of British, Irish, French, German, and Scandinavian descent.  She lives and holds her private practice in Harpswell, Maine, on the indigenous land of the Abenaki and Arosaguntacook peoples. As a certified Infinity Practitioner and Lead Trainer, Chloë has had a private healing practice since 2014, and 3,800 people worldwide have attended her online healing courses through DailyOM and her own website.

Chloe has been immersed in healing spaces her entire life. Raised by a Mother who is a shamanic practitioner, rituals, ceremonies, and healing were an ongoing part of the  environment she grew up in. Her upbringing stirred in her a deep inner wisdom, and ability to journey and glean messages from the invisible realms of spirit, and instilled in her an honoring of ceremony and sacredness in all of life. These experiences have had a profound impact on the healer she is today.

Join us as we explore the dimensions of multidimensionality, our consciousness, trauma-informed energy medicine, ancestral trauma and soul threads, The Infinity Healing Practice, and so much more.

In today’s episode we discuss:

  • Chloë’s healing journey

  • Gabrielli’s perspective of multidimensionality

  • The aliveness and possibility within our consciousness

  • Trauma-informed energy medicine

  • Our ancestral trauma and soul threads

  • Our innate psychic and empathic abilities
