Dimensions of Healing

Sara Vatore

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, we explore the dimensions of healing and what is possible when we recognize and connect to our bodies' remarkable and innate capacity for self-healing.

After experiencing a fall down some stairs at the beginning of January, this theme has spiraled back into my field for a closer personal examination. This transmission reflects on living with pain/discomfort, the depth of somatic healing and how our past shapes the way our bodies remember and heal.

Rather than racing to “fix” our physical injuries and illnesses, there is power in greeting our discomfort with kindness and compassion. Creating space to be present with ourselves and what’s true for our bodies is the first step to learn how to embrace and harness the intricate cycles of recovery that connect every part of our being, bringing us into wholeness.

The body has an organic intelligence and we have the potential to create optimum conditions to generate self-healing. There are ways that we can connect with our nervous system and the sensations in the body to allow for and cultivate healing, recalibration, integration, and reorganization.

Tune in to learn about the innate wisdom of our bodies and how to access our infinite healing potential.

In today’s episode, we explore:

  • The innate healing capacity we all have within us

  • The urgency energy around healing or “fixing” that we can experience when something is painful in the body

  • The power of tapping into the wisdom of our nervous system and body sensations to cultivate healing

  • The patterns we hold from our ancestors

  • The ways that illness and injuries can show up in our lives

  • My own personal experience with a fall and how I have been navigating healing

  • What happens when we create space for healing

  • What a healing transition is and how it impacts our body

  • How the MELT Method works to support healing

  • The process of activating our healing potentials

If you are feeling stuck or navigating your own healing journey and looking for support, I currently have a couple of spots open for one-on-one Virtual Somatic Coaching. This is a container where we start to build awareness around what's showing up in your body and provide space to connect to the healing potentials within you. If you want to learn more find more information here.

dimensions of winter

Sara Vatore

Multidimensional Transmissions is one year old!

Join me as we light the celebration candle together for a special anniversary episode of Multidimensional Transmissions. I am marking this milestone with gratitude, and highlighting the incredible support that's brought us to 28 episodes and over 1,500 downloads.

Wintertime and the Winter Solstice usher in a pause and an opportunity for deep reflection. I want to work with that energy to reflect on 2023 and review the energies from each month over the past year.

This is a time of year when our intuition deepens and we can access a direct connection to Self and the wisdom of the organic intelligence around us. Can you move slowly during this in-between space? This can be a messy and foggy time. It’s okay to not know right now. If things do not feel clear, this episode is permission to let things continue to dissolve, trusting that as the light returns new insights will emerge.

As we approach the cusp of a new calendar year, it is a good time to align with our inner truths and set intentions that resonate with our inner wisdom so that we can embrace the organic cycle of our lives and blossom again when the time comes.

I hope that this episode will provide the space to acknowledge your evolution over the past calendar year and inspire you to step into the next chapter with balance and joy.

Allow this conversation today to be a gentle nudge and invitation to orient back to your self.

In today’s episode, we explore:

  • Celebrating one year of Multidimensional Transmissions

  • The power of honoring and celebrating milestones

  • Reflection on favorite episodes and listener engagement

  • The internal and reflective energy of winter

  • How we can utilize this in-between space for reflection

  • Why we need to lean into TRUST energy during this time

  • What “ease” truly means and how it allows you to take space for yourself

  • Dreamscapes and how they can add a layer of hope, light, and magic to our days

  • The blossoming energy that has unfurled over the year of 2023

  • Creating space for personal growth

If you are looking for some support as you move into the new year and are interested in exploring working together, I have a number of ways that I do that. I have one-off virtual sessions called Recalibrate, which are two-hour sessions.

Or if you're looking for a longer support container, I offer Somatic Coaching in three and six-month experiences. You can find more information on these options below with the links!

dimensions of contraction Vs. collapse

Sara Vatore

It’s that time of year when it can be so easy to override what our bodies are asking of us, and push through in order to get things done for the holiday season. This can often leave us feeling even more run down, sick, overloaded, and frazzled.

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, we’re talking about our body’s natural physiological cycles of expansion and contraction, and what can happen when we ignore our body’s needs and practices that support building more health within our system.

When our body/system is thriving and working smoothly, there is a natural contraction that happens following any expansion, output of energy, or emotional expression. This is an organic cycle that our body breathes with. An oscillation between an output of energy and an inward, recalibration period.

When we override and push through our capacity and limits within the cycle (physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, energetically), ignoring the need for contraction spaces, our body has a corresponding response on the other end. We crash, things break down, we get sick, get injured, feel more foggy, have more pain, exhausted, etc.

Join me as we explore how our bodies can find more wellness in embracing our cyclical nature and what we can do to support our systems to thrive during challenging times of the year.

If you find it challenging to say “no” even when you have a lot on your plate and it feels like too much, this episode is for you. If you find yourself experiencing short peaks of energy and then long periods of crashing/feeling exhausted/getting sick this episode is for you.

When we feel like we are at our busiest, this is when we need to double down on creating space for contractions, so that we don’t experience a collapse. Tune into this episode to hear more about how to honor your natural expansion and contraction cycles as you care for yourself during this winter season.

In today’s episode, we explore:

  • The rhythmic ebb and flow of our nervous system when we’re healthy and what happens when we don’t honor all aspects of the cycle

  • What contraction states look like and how they feel

  • What is collapse and signs your body might be in a collapse state

  • What happens when we override our capacity and limits

  • My experience creating spaces for my body to be with contraction energy

  • How we can create generative spaces for ourselves to be in before our body moves into collapse

  • Why we have to get clear and honest with ourselves about what our limits are

  • The power of listening to your body and honoring your “no”

Dimensions of In-Between Spaces

Sara Vatore

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, we’re exploring the complexity of  transitions. The Fall ushers in endings, new beginnings and in-between spaces. Tune in as we explore the cyclical nature of transitions.

The last 6 weeks have felt initiatory. Big transition energy. So much moving. This time of year usually has this kind of energetic signature. This is reflected in the conversations I am having with all the different people in my life, the collective experience and it is glaringly apparent in my own personal sphere.

I often have to remind myself that patience is required for transitions. It can feel uncomfortable when we’re in the mess of an in-between space.

In this episode we chat about how seeking support from those around us during a transition can offer an anchoring point in the chaos, how embracing the unexpected and having faith in the unknown can open doors to new possibilities and personal growth, the power of trusting the divine timing during transitions, and so much more.

In today’s episode, we explore:

  • What in-between spaces are and how unsettling and messy they can feel

  • The different stages of the transition cycle

  • The go-to book that I work with to guide me through transitions in my life

  • Doubling down on my faith and trust even in the unknown

  • How seeking support from bodyworkers, somatic practitioners, coaches, and loved ones can be highly beneficial during times of transition

  • How I find evidence in my life to mirror the possibility in my future

  • How embracing the unexpected and having faith in the unknown can open doors to new possibilities and personal growth

  • The power of trusting in the divine timing of transitions and allowing them to guide our next steps

  • Some mantras for us during times of transition

I hope you enjoyed this chat about transitions and in-between spaces. I am sending you so much ease, love and flow to wherever you're at in your cycle of transition. What if I told you that your ancestors hold the key to healing?

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, I am chatting with my ancestral healing practitioner, Simon Wolff. We worked together for over a year and I am so excited to chat with them about all things related to ancestral healing and somatics.

Join us as Simon shares more about the correlation between somatics, ancestral reverence, and earth-based ritual practices. They also highlight the importance of embracing simple yet profound activities that encourage us to honor our ancestors and (re)connect with our bodies.  Simon discusses how as we learn to create and maintain boundaries with our troubled ancestors, and reconnect and collaborate with our bright and benevolent ancestors to heal and transform the unwellness in our lines, we can not only experience healing in our own lives, but/and also help shift local, national, and global consciousness here on Earth.

Simon Wolff (they/them) is a politicized healer and ritualist weaving one-to-one and group somatic, ancestral, and cultural healing vessels in service to radical care, resilient resistance, and collective liberation.

They identify as an antiracist, white, queer, trans, disabled, neuroqueer person of the Ashkenazi Jewish diaspora living and tending on Anishinaabe land known as Waawiiyaatanog / Detroit, Michigan.

I have experienced firsthand the power and potency that ancestral healing can have on your life, so I’m thrilled to share this conversation with Simon with you today. Make sure to tune in!

In today’s episode, we explore:

  • Simon's spiritual and emotional journey and how yoga gave them a framework for healing

  • What ancestral healing is and Simon’s unique approach

  • The intersect of ancestral healing and somatics

  • How Simon embraces multidimensionality

  • The misconceptions some people have about this type of healing work

  • The power and potency you can access in your own body with ancestral healing

  • How Simon weaves somatic work into their healing practice

  • The aliveness and fullness we embody when we come into contact with our own multidimensionality

  • The disconnection from the innate sacredness of all forms of life

I hope you enjoyed this conversation with Simon! If you want to learn more about how you can explore ancestral healing and somatic work with them, you can do that by visiting their website.

dimensions of parenting

Sara Vatore

For many of us, when we become mothers, we are confronted with a barrage of parenting advice, expectations, and judgments. The choices we make about our children's education, their upbringing, and how we deal with our personal emotional triggers can become subjects for scrutiny.

In this episode of Multidimensional Transmissions, I brought my dear friend Andrea Bordenca back onto the show to discuss the many dimensions of parenting. We are pulling back the curtain on the realities of parenting, whether it's managing external societal expectations or our internal wants and priorities or fostering open dialogues with our children.

Navigating the waves of parenthood, Andrea and I break down practical ways for helping children express their emotions, build resilience, and foster trust. We discuss the importance of supporting our children's emotional development, and how to create an environment that allows them to express their feelings without judgment.

Andrea Bordenca resides in Ludlow, Massachusetts with her husband Christopher Bordenca and three sons. Andrea owns a suite of businesses. Each business shares a common thread among all these businesses: culture and belonging.

Andrea spends most of her time coaching & consulting leaders & their teams. She is a white cisgender woman who is passionate about working with women & non-binary leaders of all races, and abilities to create effective boundaries where discerning self-care & care for others becomes transparent & uncomplicated. When individuals have the capacity to fully express themselves & be present with others’ voices, we can then celebrate that we are each dimensionally different & dynamic, this is when innovation happens.

Andrea works with several collaborators supporting leaders and their teams to design, strategize, & grow together. She’s a recovering “solo performer” & has learned & experienced that it does not need to be “lonely at the top”.

Andrea works primarily with: School Districts & Medium to Large For Profit Organizations.

In today’s episode we explore:

  • The threads of Andrea’s parenting journey

  • The judgment that parents can face from others

  • The educational choices we make as parents, including Sara’s decision to unschool/homeschool with her youngest

  • The power of having honest conversations with our kids and getting feedback on our blind spots

  • Creating safe spaces for kids to express themselves

  • How we can understand and address our triggers as parents

  • Helping our children navigate their emotions

  • Embracing our children as individuals, not as extensions of ourselves

dimensions of resilience

Sara Vatore

As we say goodbye to July, I couldn’t help but feel the pull of a summer pause from the podcast for the month of August, a much-needed respite for self-reflection, and a time to recharge before we transition into a new season.

With August on the horizon, I found myself contemplating the necessity of creating space for myself in this upcoming month, especially after an expansive July.  It's been a whirlwind of activity and growth lately over in my world, and as I embrace the energy that July brought, there is natural contraction energy that is calling for me to pay attention to.

Tune in to this chat for some reflections about the themes that July presented for me personally, my observations of some energetic threads swirling in the collective and the why behind choosing into a pause for the podcast for the month of August.

At the beginning of the calendar year I always pull a card to tap into the energy signature for each month. August’s theme is RESILIENCE. Join me for this episode as I explore what RESILIENCE really means, share about how we can cultivate RESILIENCE within our Beings as we move into August and how this energy is aligning with what's coming up personally and collectively.

In order for us to be RESILIENT Beings and have RESILIENT Bodies, we have to be listening deeply and taking exquisite care of our selves. I’m sharing how I will be dancing with this understanding as I enter August, prioritizing practices and spaces that fuel my resilience and nourish my Being.

In today’s episode we explore:

  • The WHY behind embracing a pause on the podcast for August

  • The signs that come up for me signaling old patterns are resurfacing

  • Gratitude for expanded awareness and red flags, instead of frustration

  • Recommitting to what’s important

  • How I determine where I devote my energy and time

  • Embracing generative expansion and contraction cycles

  • August’s Energy Theme of RESILIENCE

  • What cultivating resilience looks like for me

  • How I support my ability to show up and thrive

Wishing everyone a restorative and replenishing August! I look forward to reconnecting again in September, when we are back on the 5th with some new and  really juicy interviews! During this month I invite you to revisit some of your favorite episodes or check out ones that you missed.
