june invitation: navigate with heart
Sara Vatore
Each month in 2025, I’ve pulled a card to offer a soul-centered invitation. A way for us to root deeper into our bodies, our inner knowing, and our connection to the divine within and around us.
What can we prioritize and focus on to access and amplify our vibrancy and our radiance, so that our divinity may shine through in all that we do and BE?
For June, the invitation is: Navigate with Heart
Our heart is always guiding us and this month is reminding us of this potent portal back to our knowing.
When we allow our heart to lead, not from sentimentality, but from deep sensing, we begin to move in alignment with our truth.
We start to recognize what expands us and what contracts us.
What enlivens and what depletes.
What is ours to move toward, and what is not.
When we are young, many of us learn that the heart is something that has to be protected, or guarded, locked down, or even forgotten about.
Over time our wounds, loss, disappointments, breakups, and other lived experiences often lead us to armor up, tighten and protect.
This month invites us to tune into the wisdom of the heart space, not just the muscle, but the energetic center. The chakra of love, compassion, empathy, and emotional balance.
Underneath all that we have been protecting for our survival, the heart still desires, it longs for, and it knows.
June is asking:
🌀 What is your heart longing for right now?
🌀 What are you ignoring, suppressing, or skipping over?
🌀 What relationships, choices, or thought patterns are tightening your chest instead of opening it?
To navigate with heart means to return to our original nature.
To remember and connect with our capacity for deep presence, clear love, and radiant self-compassion.
This process begins with turning inward.
Before we can meet others with kindness and grace, we have to meet ourselves there first.
Before we can love outward, we must soften inward.
Before we can offer balance, we must create it for ourselves.
This month is an opportunity for heart healing and heart listening.
To pay attention to what this space is trying to communicate.
To welcome more coherence into our body and more alignment into our path.
When the heart is balanced and open, we’re more emotionally regulated, more connected, and more able to engage the world from a place of rooted love, not reaction.
Here’s a simple breathing practice to help you reconnect with your heart space this month:
Heart-Centered Reconnection Breathing Practice
Take a moment to pause and sense your body in space.
Feel where you’re being supported—by the earth, the chair, the floor. You can keep your eyes open or closed.Next, notice your breath.
Let it be exactly as it is. Inhale. Exhale. No need to change it or alter it in any way.Start to bring attention to your heart space.
Gently follow the inhale and exhale and notice the sensations as the breath moves through your chest.Feel the contrast.
What do you notice on the inhale?
What shifts on the exhale?Get curious about the flow of breath through the heart space.
Does it feel stuck? Easeful? Dull? Activated? Can you meet your breath with compassion, just as it is?Place one hand on your heart.
Let yourself feel the contact. Notice if your breath shifts, deepens, or changes in any way.Let go of focusing on your breath.
Return your attention to the support beneath you. Let your body breathe itself again.
Close the practice when it feels complete.
You may want to journal or simply sit with what you’ve noticed. So friends, for June may your heart be your compass.
