may invitation: engage your invisibles

Each month for 2025, I pulled a card to receive an invitation for us all, guiding us in reconnecting to our inner divinity.

What can we prioritize and focus on to access and amplify our vibrancy and our radiance, so that our divinity may shine through in all that we do and BE?

For May the invitation is: Engage Your Invisibles

This month invites us to sense beyond the veil.

To honor what can’t always be seen with the eyes, but is felt with the body, known in the bones, and heard in the quiet moments.

This invitation this month is a gentle whisper: You are surrounded. Supported. Witnessed. Even when it feels like you're walking through challenge and uncertainty alone.

There are forces (real, loving, and intelligent!) that are moving alongside you, cheering for you, and guiding your soul’s unfolding.

We might call them Guides. Ancestors. Spirit Allies. Animal Messengers. Nature Beings. Divine Intelligence. Universal Love. The Quantum. Cosmic Beings. Or something different…

This month, we’re asked to initiate contact.

To engage.

To tune into these energies with devotion, curiosity, and reverence.

When we believe in their presence, they reveal more of themselves.

When we open to connection, synchronicities bloom. When we ask for help, we receive. When we invite them to play, they respond.

Maybe you already have a team of guides you work with. Maybe you're still exploring. Either way, this is a month to suspend disbelief and enter the conversation.

There are SO many ways your invisibles might show up:

A hawk circling above. 

A rainbow around the sun.

A song on the radio at the exact right moment. 

A tingle on your skin.

A whisper in your dreams. 

A 2:22 on the clock.

A sensation in your gut. 

A flicker at the edge of your vision. 

A visit from a cardinal.

A memory that doesn’t quite feel like yours, but is trying to tell you something.

Their language is often subtle.

So May is an invitation for us all to slow down and listen differently.

🌀What sacred force is nudging at the edges of your awareness?

The beauty of actively working with our invisibles is that they are available for support. Especially in times of our lives that feel most challenging or lonely. We are not alone and can call on them to help. They are a resource.

When I cycle through concern about my kids, I call on their guides to come in and offer support. 

I don’t have to hold it all alone. There are loving, coherent, intelligent forces working behind the scenes that we can partner with. 

When I am struggling and need some reassurance about a particular hardship or choice point, their messages, nudges and ways of communicating provide insight, relief, and a sense of faith that is deeply nourishing.

This month is your reminder: 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙨𝙠 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥.

The quantum is coherent, intelligent, and loving. It responds to intention. It meets belief with resonance.

And your body is the bridge.

This month, let your body become a vessel of sensing.
 Let your breath become a conduit of listening.
Let your dreams become conversations.
Let your rituals become invitations.

If connecting with the unseen realms and your invisibles is new to you, know that there is not much you need to “do”. You don’t even have to know who they are yet or know their names. 

Your sincerity is the signal. Your curiosity is the portal. Your belief is the bridge.

A simple way you can engage with your invisibles is by setting up a small altar of connection. You can include a stone, a flower, or an offering of some sort to establish a space to acknowledge their wisdom and start to have a relationship.

Or, you can even just light a candle and speak your intention to connect with an ancestor out loud. 

Or, you can ask to receive specific signs from your guides (numbers, feathers, song lyrics, etc). 

Other ways you can engage and connect:

Nature walks, listening for whispers on the wind observing signs from the land

Placing your hands in water and calling in sea spirits

Inviting guidance into your dreamspace

Writing a letter to the Universe and waiting for its reply

One of the guides I work with reveals rainbows as assurance. When I see a rainbow I get a felt sense in my body and whole system that everything is going to be okay. 

There is no one way to be connecting and engaging with your invisibles. This is a unique relationship with YOU. 

The key is: they WANT to be engaged.

They want a relationship.

The more we engage, the more visible they become.

For May, let yourself tune in:

There is a vast, living intelligence woven into this world.

It pulses through trees and tides, galaxies and gut feelings. It’s encoded in your breath. It’s imprinted into your cells. Your recognition and awareness sparks the connection.

The more we engage with the unseen, the more clearly we begin to see.

This kind of co-creation and communication lights up my experience of being human on this planet. These relationships invite a sense of awe and wonder to my day to day experience. 

Suddenly, the world becomes even more enchanted. Even more alive.

Even more deeply connected to the sacredness we’ve always carried inside.

Let May be a month of partnership, with the seen and unseen.

Let it be a month of co-creation with the mystery.
