august invitation: dance

Sara Vatore

Each month in 2025, I’ve pulled a card to offer a soul-centered invitation—a way for us to root deeper into our bodies, our inner knowing, and our connection to the divine within and around us.

What can we prioritize and focus on to access and amplify our vibrancy and our radiance, so that our divinity may shine through in all that we do and BE?

𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨: 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚.

This card is speaking to my soul. YES! Movement as a gateway to connect to our own divinity. Accessing our body and getting out of our heads. With all the sorting and sifting my brain has been doing with my new business I can certainly use that invitation right now.

This month, our card is asking us to let the body lead.

To slow down and connect to what is present and alive within us.

This is not done by naming it or needing to figure it out, but by moving with it.

We spend so much of our time trying to think our way through things. Logic. Effort. Fixing

Shaping ourselves into who we think we need to be.

Somewhere along the way, we lose the threads of who we are.

This month invites pause to return to our SELF through movement. Through expression. Through letting your body speak what words cannot reach.

Dance is one of the most potent ways I know to reconnect with my center and reconnect with my alignment.

Growing up it was the restorative and healthy way I met myself in emotions and my body, without even realizing it was a resource.

Dance is/has been the core way my system processes/integrates and moves energy and emotion.

With movement you don’t need to know. You don’t need to know what’s wrong, what feels out of sorts. What it all means.

You don’t have to know what emotion you are experiencing or why, or what you think about something.

You get to just let your body do what it wants to do. Move in the ways that it is called, that feel good or needed and allow for the energy to unfurl.

Without explanation.

This opens up and creates more space in the body/energy/emotions/mind/spirit to invite in sensations and intentions that feel more aligned and alive than stuckness, stress, density, etc

Having space to move and integrate creates more capacity for us to hold all the things physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. All the emotions, pieces, layers, experiences, challenges, pains, expansions.

This month is not about performing or even being “in the mood.”

We don’t dance because we feel good.

We dance to feel at all.
To return to sensation.
To remember the rhythm of our soul.

This month, I invite you to lie on the floor.

Put on some music and listen.

Wait until your body feels called to move.

Don’t stand up because you think you’re supposed to.

Don’t try to control the experience.

Let your body surprise you

Let yourself move in ways that are unfamiliar or strange or tender.

Follow what wants to rise.

You don’t have to know what emotion you’re feeling.

You don’t have to understand what you’re processing.

You don’t even have to move “big.”

Stillness is part of the dance, too.

This kind of reorienting back to our own movement opens up a portal to truth.

It allows energy to unfurl.

It creates space for the emotions, patterns, and density you’ve been holding to shift, without needing to be explained.

Through this practice, you connect with the energy of allowing.

You release control.
You soften rigidity.
You make room for what’s real and for what’s possible.

There is no wrong way to do this.

This is your invitation to move with what’s here this month.

Dance your fear. Dance your grief. Dance your desire. Dance your joy. Dance your frustration.

Dance your way back into your body and back into the present moment.

The intention this month is simple:

Let your body lead.
Let the movement be the medicine.
Let the dance become the doorway.
